Advanced Bible Engine (w/ auto formating) New!

ProPresenter has enhanced its scripture presentation engine to include the ability to put scripture references into a separately placed text box. Many users have requested the ability to automatically format the reference separately from the verse, and this feature accomplishes this task.
They have also included the ability to add verses to an existing presentation. So in the case where a presentation with a range of verses from one chapter has already been created, it’s now easy to add verses from other chapters searched on to that selected presentation. You can now easily create a single presentation for all of the scripture references for the Pastor’s sermon.

Slide Transitions & Animations New!

ProPresenter has always had smooth, seamless cross dissolves between slides and video elements. Now in ProPresenter 5, they have added some incredible new 3D transitions, wipes and additional dissolves. These aren’t cheesy either… they’re world class transitions that are sure to help you continue to make quality presentations for your congregations.

Video/Image Effects & Advanced Coloring New!

In ProPresenter 4, you had the ability to change the hue (color) of any piece of media. Now with ProPresenter 5, you can actually choose the color you want your media to be as well as add sepia tone, greyscale, color invert or heat signature, giving you advanced control over the look and feel of your media.

Additionally, Pro 5 allows you to add a blur effect to your media or an edge blur so your text is a bit easier to read on screen. Now your media libraries are nearly infinite with all the options you have at your fingertips.

Planning Center Online Integration New!

Many of our customers are using Planning Center Online to manage resources and their worship plans. ProPresenter 5 now includes integration with Planning Center enabling you to download your service plans, attach presentations to specific plan elements, and get live updates of your plans right within ProPresenter.

2 Presentation Views

Pro 5 includes the standard presentation view (grid view) where the slides are laid out in a very visual manner allowing you to see an exact representation of what the slides are going to look like. However, ProPresenter also offers a List View to provide an easy way to view slides with more lyrics and/or layouts that are difficult to read on the grid view. Either one is a simple toggle button in the lower right corner of the website.

Fill In The Blank Slides New!

Two new reveals for ProPresenter 5 are the Fill-in-the-Blank and Bullet Point features. As the names imply, these features allow users to dynamically create fill-in-the-blank or bullet point reveals on a single slide. ProPresenter recognizes a hard return or under lined word as a reveal element and each successive click on the slide will advance through the reveal, filling in a blank or displaying the next bullet point.

This visual tool has been used for years in churches and schools to emphasize a point and enhance audience participation. Now the same can be done easily in ProPresenter 5 with a single slide and a visual indicator of where the user is in the reveal process.

Messages, Clocks & Tokens

Announcing a car who left their lights on, or getting the attention of a parent who needs to attend to their children in the nursery has never been easier! Now with ProPresenter 5′s newly designed messages interface, you can setup very simple templates to allow easy access for your volunteers. Using the tokens feature, you have the ability to create assignable data fields allowing volunteers to not get lost with all the clutter of how the message is displayed. Just enter the license number or childcare ID and the rest is taken care of.

Along with a powerful interface for messages, this feature allows you to create countdown clocks with nearly any piece of media within the interface of ProPresenter. Extremely easy and user friendly layout will have you making countdowns in seconds.

Twitter Integration New!

Few technologies have facilitated communication between people at large gatherings like Twitter. ProPresenter 5 features a new Twitter feed feature that allows you to search by keywords or hashtags, moderate tweets, and display them on rotation using your choice of templates.

Templates

Ever look back on your current song library and find 7 versions of the same song because of the various ministries, special events and specific themed-sundays? Well now you can clean all of those up with the powerful use of Templates in ProPresenter 5. This is by far the most advanced addition to this version allowing users to quickly and rapidly change the layout, design and format of all your songs/slides at the touch of a button. Maybe you need to create a few quick presets you use on a regular basis, make templates. Maybe you’re doing something special for one Sunday but don’t want to re-type all your songs in, use templates. Maybe your youth service uses the same library/computer and you don’t’ want to have duplicates, use templates.

Stage Display

Make it easier on your choir and pastor to read the words on the screen with Stage Display, the new third output display to either a USB-to-VGA adaptor or an Apple iPad. Within this feature, you can control countdown clocks, send text-only lyrics, provide notes to a presentation and send a message to only that display without your audience seeing it. A perfect addition to anyone who has a lot of moving parts and needs to keep the leaders on track or just want an easier way to view the lyrics on screen. Of course this feature and all those on this page are included within the purchase of ProPresenter. (Adapters may cost additional fees).

New! The Stage Display feature now has an optional (at additional cost) iPhone and iPad App to view the stage display on any of your favorite iOS 4 or iOS 5 devices. Simply visit the iOS App Store to view screenshots and additional information.

Document Bassed

The biggest change to the backend of the ProPresenter system is the fact that is is now Document Based instead of built on a complex database. What does this mean for you? It means that you can easily export, import, save, bundle and duplicate songs to numerous computers and/or platforms without much work. The library now has individual documents that allow easy duplication or backup of specific presentations. Along with this feature, it is now extremely easy to port or export your entire library to another computer or have multiple libraries (discussed below).

Multi-Screen and Triple-Wide Templates New!

A lot of our customers have integrated multi-screen functionality into their worship environments. Now you can customize the way your text and slide elements appear on screen in ways easier than ever! This flexibility helps accommodate unique output requirements in a production. For example, you can select a template with lower third text for the outside screens and select a template with centered text for the center screen. You can also have a different template for all three screens if desired.

Master Control New!

An entirely new and exciting module is available for ProPresenter 5. The “Master Control Module” allows one operator to control multiple ProPresenter Network Nodes from one computer.

This is a highly useful feature for productions where one may need to utilize multiple instances of ProPresenter to control multiple screens, each with varying content, but want one operator to control them all in unison from one station. This new module allows one Master ProPresenter Station to remotely trigger slides and Video/Image bin contents of one or more networked ProPresenter stations. Each Slave station can have their own respective content suitable for its output, so it can be the same or different material than the Master station (great for multi-lingual environments).

Corner Pinning New!

Mobile church? Or using a temporary setup? If so, aligning the projector can be extremely difficult sometimes. With the new “Corner pinning” feature in ProPresenter 5, you will never have to worry about your Key-stoning again, as it can all be controlled inside Pro 5′s interface.

Free Media New!

DVD Playback

Sometimes we just have to play a DVD don’t we? Well now it’s easier than ever with features like ‘in-and-out points’ and chapter markers. You can actually control the menu of the DVD live within the program. Recently added to the DVD playback feature of ProPresenter 4 is the ability to prevent spin down.

New! While ProPresenter 5 maintains the ability to playback DVDs from within the software directly, it’s not always the best method since DVD’s are not very reliable. As an alternative to this for presentations that are not last minute, they have created the ability to rip DVD Content right within Pro5 (for non-copyrighted material only).

Full Syncronization

More than just the ability to port documents from one computer to another using the document based back end of ProPresenter 4, the software now allows you to manage and maintain multiple libraries. Don’t get your various ministries music libraries mixed up… create multiple libraries that you can switch at the touch of a button. Easy, powerful and helping us all clean up our collection of presentations.

New! Now ProPresenter 5 expands this feature, allowing users to synchronize all of their ProPresenter elements – media, templates, playlists, messages, and even Stage Display layouts. This is extremely useful for any organization using ProPresenter on more than one system. It helps manage all elements of presentations across multiple installations throughout the campus.

Hot Folders New!

ProPresenter 5 now has a new “Hot Folder” item that mirrors a folder on your computer. It dynamically adds and subtracts media files in ProPresenter according to its existence in that folder. This means you can keep all of your media in one place and it will automatically be added or removed in your Hot Folder in ProPresenter. You can create multiple hot folders in the Video/Image bin and contents will be updated in real time.

For example, create a hot folder called “Playback Drive” and ever time you add media to the Playback Drive it will automatically be added to your media library inside ProPresenter 5… without you having to import it.

Slide Timing & Auto Advancing

Need to make a slideshow or set slides to advance on their own after a few seconds? Now ProPresenter 5 allows you to build complex timelines for advancing slides or simple “go to next” timers including the ability to loop/cycle your loops. It’s as easy as “Drag-and-Drop.” Once you import your slides, just right click, hit “Go to next timer…” and set the amount of time you want for each slide. Then set the last picture/video to loop back to the beginning… It can’t get any easier than this!

New!ProPresenter 5 delivers one of the most frequently requested features… “Can I set a different transition within presentations on a per slide basis?” The answer now is YES. There is still a global setting, but now one can set a default for a specific presentation or even set it per slide, so every slide change can have a different transition.

Quartz

One of the latest technologies that has surfaced recently is Quartz, a platform in which allows for live, on the fly manipulation of worship visuals.

Remote

Available on the iOS App Store is the ProPresenter Remote, a fluid way to control the output of the ProPresenter program. Make it easy for a speaker to control his/her slides without having to say “next slide please.” Also allow your worship team to advance their own slides during rehearsal so you don’t have to be there. Just another way that ProPresenter allows.

Masks & Props

Do you use environmental projection? If so, you need to check out ProPresenter for the sake of Masks & Props. These features allow you to custom fit the projection to your room and make the visuals appear to just begin at the ceiling. Need to block out screens or choir lofts? Masks will soon be your favorite feature.

The Props feature allows you to layer on various elements like a “welcome bug” on the side of the screen, or a countdown or border to all your slides without having to add it on every single one. This is great for slideshows that you want to have the trip logo in the corner, or countdown clock and church name still on screen while the slides are advancing. Maybe you want to add a lower third to a video that you are playing? Props are the feature to do that in!
